Solicitors- Advise, appear and represent clients in relation to general legal issues. Examples includes, letters of demand, contracts, wills, probate, legal advice and family law.

In other countries they may be known as attorneys. They need to be appropriately qualified and practise in accordance with the requirements set out in the Legal Profession Act.
